Freeze resistant multilayer film

Abstract

PURPOSE: To contrive improvements in heat-seal resistance, freeze resistance, gloss and transparency, by making use of a multilayer film having polyether ester amide resin, gas barrier property resin and heat seal property resin respectively for its surface layer, intermediate layer and seal layer. CONSTITUTION: A freeze resistant multilayer film is constituted of at least three layers of a surface layer composed of polyether ester amide resin, an intermediate layer composed of gas barrier property resin and a seal layer composed of resin having heat seal properties. The polyether ester amide resin is a block copolymer obtained by joining in a block form a polyamide-forming ingredient and polyalkylene ether glycol to each other through an ester linkage, and it is preferable when the crystalline melting point is 110W230°C and glass transition temperature (Tg) is -50°C or lower. A saponified matter of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer or a vinylidene chloride copolymer is preferable as gas barrier property resin. Polyolefin resin is preferable as the resin having heat seal properties. The total thickness of the multilayer film is 40W200μm. COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
